Inside, there are foyer staircases on each side of the doors, which lead up to the house. Not exactly grand, but I always found this little vestibule very cozy.
I fictionalized several “versions” of the theatre, some considerably grander, but the haphazard, slightly run-down one where Brynna begins was always my favourite in part because it’s these stairs she walks down and it always felt, to me, like the walls were almost cradling you on your way out of the world upstairs.
