Closer to the door. I’ve always liked how plain it is. What it does not do is limit light coming through, but this is the sort of backstage that treasures aesthetic over practicality.
You may have noticed the names all over the walls–I know many theatres do this, but these are the oldest signatures in the building, some many decades old. In places, glass has been placed over to preserve them.
